Garcia Teaches This Week at West Coast Wednesdays

Carlos Garcia will be your instructor this week as he brings his multi-time, multi-style championship form to West Coast Wednesdays (WCW) this week, sharing some of his tips and moves.

Carlos has designed both a beginner and intermediate class to give you plenty of choices for the Wednesday night lesson:

• For the beginner class – Alternate Universe West Coast Swing for Beginners – Learn why Carlos believes that teaching Newtonian physics might be a better teaching model than rhythm and patterns for new West Coast Swing dancers.
• For the intermediate class – Fundamentals and Flash – Not Natural Enemies – The intermediate lesson will help define what they (flash and fundamentals) are and when they are appropriate. This class is useful for upcoming novice/intermediate competitors.

The Basics

Lessons each week cost:

• $5 for the beginner lesson starting at approximately 7:00 p.m.
• $5 for the intermediate lesson starting at approximately 7:45 p.m.
• Please note: The cost of the lessons is separate from the $6 cover charge for the evening.
